Josie Nicotra Promoted to New Role Overseeing Travel & Insurance Centers

AAA Western and Central New York is pleased to announce the promotion of Josie Nicotra to Director of Branch Operations. Over the past eight years, Josie has held several management roles with AAA including manager of the Amherst and the Orchard Park Travel & Insurance Centers. 

Prior to joining AAA Western and Central New York in 2014, Josie worked for Liberty Travel and has decades of management experience in the travel and tourism industry. 

In her new role, Josie will oversee all branch operations, including travel, insurance, and membership services, across Western and Central New York at AAA’s eight Travel & Insurance Centers in the region.

“I’m excited to put my skills to work in my new role,” Josie said. “We have a great team in place, and I encourage everyone to stop into their local AAA office to renew membership, book a trip, and get an insurance quote.”

Nicotra is a graduate of Daemen College and holds a Bachelor of Science in Travel and Tourism Management. She currently resides in Clarence Center. 

You’ll often find Josie giving back to the community and mentoring students at Maryvale High School’s NAF Academy of Hospitality and Tourism. (NAF began as the National Academy of Finance in New York City and grew to hundreds of academies across the country focusing on growing industries including hospitality and tourism.)

She also enjoys creating beautiful floral arrangements, her hobby, which includes taking part in floral workshops and more.
