Adam Winkworth has joined AAA Western and Central New York as a Human Resources Business Partner. From AAA’s Amherst headquarters, Adam will oversee associate and labor relations for AAA Automotive Operations in Western New York.

Adam’s background includes more than four years with MOD-PAC Corp. in Buffalo, where he transitioned from Intern to HR Generalist. Adam supported MOD-PAC’s human resources efforts, including policy development, recruiting, payroll, occupational safety, and more.

Adam’s educational background includes a BA in Psychology from SUNY Buffalo State College and an MBA in Human Resources Management from Niagara University. Applying his psychology interest to human resources was a natural transition, Adam explained, “I enjoy working with people, helping them manage conflict, solve problems and concerns, and thereby boost engagement. Human resources is the perfect career to link my desire to help people with making a difference in the workplace.”

The new opportunity at AAA was the ideal next step in his career. “I look forward to getting to know associates on a personal level, that’s the part of HR Management that I enjoy the most,” Adam said. “I can’t wait to learn where I can be an asset to AAA and make an impact.”

A Buffalo native, Adam grew up in Youngstown, N.Y. and now calls Niagara Falls, N.Y. home. One of Adam’s favorite pastimes is soccer. In addition to playing in an amateur soccer league, Adam volunteers at Williamsville South High School, where he is the assistant coach for the boys’ varsity soccer team. When he isn’t on the field, Adam enjoys reading and escaping into a good book.
