I was very lucky that my family traveled when I was a child. Every year we took a vacation. Sometimes it was a small trip and other years it was something larger like a cruise. Travel has always been a part of my life. My mom once said to me that there were times they probably shouldn’t have spent the money on trips but she sure is glad they did since my dad passed away when I was a teenager. We have so many great memories of traveling together. I want to create those memories for my own family as well and so my husband, daughter and I do a lot of traveling. Even though my daughter is only a toddler, I want to ingrain that curiosity in her now to see the world.
I take planning your travel personally. Vacations equal memories, whether it’s your honeymoon, your dream vacation or your 10th cruise. They are all special and will create lasting memories. I take great pride in helping you choosing the right destinations, preparing you for what will happen along the way and giving you some tips and tricks to have things go smoothly along the way. I am always just a phone call or email away.
I studied Travel and Tourism in college and have traveled all over the world including Cancun, Ireland, river cruising in Europe, Germany, Paris, London and all over the U.S. In addition, I've completed training as a Cancun Specialist and a Princess Commodore through Princess Cruise Lines.
One of my favorite trips was a river cruise down the Rhine River with a couple extra nights in Amsterdam. While in Amsterdam I was able to visit the famous Keukenhof Gardens. I have never seen so many tulips in my life - just waves of amazing color. Once on board the ship it opened up doors to experience wonderful smaller cities that you may never see if you were on your own. It was a true culinary experience on board with well-prepared regional favorites and unique choices.
My dream vacation would be to take a tour of New Zealand to get a good lay of the land and learn some local history, see some amazing sites, and then spend some extra time afterwards to explore. I want to find the "hidden gems" - whether it be a great bakery, restaurant or just a place to kick back and take in the scenery.
