My travels so far in the U.S. have been mainly along the east coast. Some of my favorite cities are Boston, NYC, and New Orleans, where I highly recommend making a stop (or two) at Café Du Monde near Jackson Square to try some of their beignets. I have been to Disney World several times as well as Universal Orlando. I have also been on many Royal Caribbean Cruises; one Disney Cruise and I spent my honeymoon in St. Thomas.
One of my favorite vacations was a southern Caribbean cruise that left out of San Juan, stopped in St. Thomas, St. Kitts, Antigua, St. Maarten, and Barbados. This was an extended family trip where we chose what we wanted to do during the day and met up every evening for dinner and shared our experiences. Aside from enjoying the views from our balcony, we explored an underground cave, took an island train ride, rode Segway's, and snorkeled.
