The holidays are here, and residents and visitors are flocking to Lights on the Lake. AAA Western and Central New York is proud to be a part of the annual Lights on the Lake – Central New York’s number one holiday tradition. As a safety precaution, AAA WCNY will be on hand to keep spirits bright by providing emergency roadside assistance to motorists in need of help along the two-mile long drive-through holiday light show.

“You never know when your car will have issues – it could be right in the middle of a fun night out with the family,” said Todd Ingraham, AAA WCNY Central Fleet Operations Manager. “From a dead battery to a flat tire, we want to make sure motorists have peace of mind and can enjoy the holiday display.”

You don’t have to be a AAA member to take advantage of the services. AAA has long been known for emergency roadside services and is happy to be a part of a time-honored tradition in Syracuse. Social distancing and masks are required when dealing with emergency road service. Since the light show opened in November, AAA has rescued some motorists who experienced breakdowns.

The drive-through experience of Lights on the Lake will run through January 14th from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. nightly at Onondaga Lake Park. This year, to create a contactless process, ticket sales are online only. You can find more information at www.lightsonthelake.com.
