AAA Western and Central New York’s Pittsford Office Closes April 2nd

AAA Western and Central New York will be closing the Pittsford Travel & Insurance Center at 3240 Monroe Avenue next month. The last day of operation will be Friday, April 2, 2021. No jobs were lost from this closure. Right now, AAA is offering a 30 percent discount on most retail items at the Pittsford Travel Store. 
 
The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the way AAA members conduct business. With in-person business not always feasible or convenient, many members are choosing new ways to interact with AAA. While AAA remains committed to the Pittsford area, the current lease was ending, making it the right time to consider new options and virtual opportunities.
 
In July, AAA unveiled a new AAA.com experience to assist members from a remote environment. All AAA benefits and services are now available online, via video conference, email or phone; and, members can request services from the convenience, and safety, of their home. Current AAA Penfield manager Christine Randise is managing AAA’s new Virtual Travel Agency with ten dedicated travel consultants offering flexible travel planning options. After the Pittsford office closes, manager Sonia Cittadino will transfer to the Penfield location.
 
Although the brick and mortar Pittsford facility is closing, local AAA associates are still available to help Rochester area members out of a different office, by phone, email, or virtually. 

There are two AAA locations in the Rochester region, in Greece and Penfield. 

  • The new Greece AAA is located at 2589 West Ridge Road, Rochester, NY 14626
  • The Penfield AAA is located at 2156 Penfield Road, Penfield, NY 14526
