AAA Western and Central New York has promoted Matthew Covert to the position of Manager at the Orchard Park Travel and Insurance Center. Matt has worked at the Orchard Park office as a Senior Travel Advisor since 2019, when he moved to Western New York from North Carolina.

“I am very excited,” said Matt. “I firmly believe in AAA and all that we have to offer. I am glad to be continuing to grow my career with such a great organization.”

Matt got his start with AAA in 2015 producing TripTiks and maps with AAA Carolinas. He was then promoted to Travel Advisor. His experience with AAA makes Matt ideally suited to lead the team in Orchard Park.

“Matt has demonstrated that he is member-focused, a good neighbor, and strives for greatness in all his member interactions,” said AAA Western and Central New York Director of Branch Operations Josie Nicotra. “Matt’s contributions in a leadership role will strengthen the Orchard Park team to achieve our Club goals and objectives with a keen focus on membership, insurance, and travel.”

A native of nearby Bradford, Pennsylvania, Matt earned a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management from the University of Pittsburgh.

Bills Mafia through and through, Matt is a loyal Bills fan who now lives in Buffalo with his wife. When he’s not following the Bills, you’ll find him golfing, spending time with his dog, and traveling the world. His all-time favorite vacation was a trip to Alaska, while Australia is on his bucket list!

The AAA Orchard Park Travel and Insurance Center is located at 3475 Amelia Drive and offers a variety of travel, insurance, and membership services to the Buffalo region.
