Medicare can be confusing and complex. In short, Medicare is the federal insurance program for people who are 65 or older, certain younger people with disabilities, and people with End-Stage Renal Disease. Medicare has four main parts that cover specific services.

To help the public navigate the journey through Medicare, AAA Western and Central New York is offering online Medicare workshops at no cost through its insurance division.

Navigating the Medicare process alone can be difficult, and it can be time-consuming. By taking part in a complimentary webinar, participants can learn from AAA Licensed Insurance Agents who are AHIP (America's Health Insurance Plans) licensed, get recertified, and licensed annually to understand Medicare plans. Unless the average consumer is doing that, they're not going to know as much about insurance as a professional.

With so many questions surrounding Medicare, AAA Licensed Insurance Agents host virtual webinars to answer questions for AAA members and nonmembers alike. This is an easy way to gather information to understand Medicare. Individuals who have specific questions can meet one on one with AAA Licensed Insurance Agents to get their specific questions answered, which is also a complimentary service.

Upcoming sessions to choose from:

Tuesday 5/10/2022 5 PM Ready for Retirement?
Thursday 5/19/2022 1 PM Turning 65 Medicare 101
