How do I change AAA clubs?

You moved outside of the AAA Western and Central New York area and need to renew. You can renew with the new local AAA Club. Below are two ways to do this:

Your membership is not up for renewal yet:

  1. Change your address by logging into My Account or calling us at (800) 836-2582
  2. AAA will transfer your membership details automatically to the new AAA club you moved to
  3. The new AAA club will transfer-in your membership and send a renewal statement usually within 2 months from your next renewal date
  4. Note: auto renewal credit card information is NOT transferred

Your membership is up for renewal:

  1. Contact the nearest AAA club by calling 1-800-AAA-HELP (800-222-4357)
  2. Provide them with your member number.
  3. The AAA representative accesses AAA's membership verification system to see the coverage level, original join date and coverage level and can process your payment right away to avoid a lapse
  4. Note: auto renewal credit card information is NOT transferred

Note: if you are listed under your guardian's membership and you are temporarily away for college you can keep your original address. You do not need to change your address and transfer out unless you prefer to.
