Can I use a debit card to pay my Roadside Assistance beyond my current membership level coverage?

Yes, debit cards may be used provided they maintain the logo for MasterCard or Visa. (Check cards) An initial authorization is obtained and a hold is put on your card for the funds required. If the authorization is obtained when placing the Roadside Assistance call and later it is determined that a charge is not necessary, the funds will be posted back to the bank account in the next 7-10 business days. The time frame it takes for the funds to be posted back to the bank account is determined by the financial institution where your account is help.
