When an unexpected breakdown happens on the road, time and efficiency are critical. That's why AAA has introduced the new Digital Roadside Request through the AAA Mobile App.

Digital Roadside Request makes it easier than ever for members to request roadside assistance with real-time tracking. Follow your tow truck from the garage to your location so you can rearrange your schedule accordingly.

Are you in a hurry? Have your technician bring your vehicle to a AAA Approved Auto Repair facility for service you can trust.

MORE THAN JUST TOWING SERVICES

As a AAA member, your roadside assistance benefits go beyond towing. Use Digital Roadside Request to request road service for any or all of the following:

  • Battery Boost
  • Battery Replacement
  • Extrication & Winching
  • Fuel Delivery Service
  • Lock-Out Services
  • Minor Mechanical First Aid
  • Tire Service and More

Remember, many of our most popular branch services like TripTiks® and TourBooks® are available digitally through the AAA Mobile App.

Whenever you’re on the road or away from home, have Digital Roadside Request at your fingertips by downloading the AAA Mobile App.

I hope that this will not mean that older members who don't "smartphone" will get slower or inferior service .

Hi Edward!

Emergency Roadside Service through the app does not slow down service for members who order AAA service over the phone. It's just another way for members to contact us for service. Remember, you can always call for service at (800)-222-4357 or request service through your web browser at www.aaa.com/service.

Thank you for your question!

How about fast roadside requests for those people who do not have smartphones, but instead have plain cell phones?

Believe it or not.....some of us don't have smart phones!

Please keep ordinary phone service available, too.

Seems like you can't be bothered speaking with real people anymore. Instead of making your phone contact faster, you pawn us off on an app.

Just tried to login to the AAA app from my phone. Did not recognize my email. Did not ask for password. So far so bad.

Hi Jeffrey,

Sorry to hear about your issue logging in. Email webmaster@nyaaa.com for assistance getting logged in. Thank you!

Hi Jane!

Sorry to hear about your issue. Unfortunately, contacting AAA by phone is contingent on having phone service. Remember, you don't need to use a smartphone to call us, you can always use a public phone, a home phone or someone else's cellphone that has service.

Thank you for reaching out.
