COVID-19 Travel Updates

Carnival announces new extensions, WECK day trips planned

With information changing rapidly, AAA Western and Central New York is working to keep members and the public informed amid the ongoing pandemic. 


Here are some travel updates for Friday, April 3:

  • Carnival Cruise Line:
    • All Alaska sailings through and including June 30, 2020 
    • All San Francisco sailings through 2020
    • All Carnival Radiance sailings through and including November 1, 2020 
    • All Carnival Legend sailings through and including October 30, 2020 
  • AAA and WECK Buffalo have a series of day trips planned for 2020. Two trips, March and May, had to be suspended. However, the rest of the trips are currently planned:
    • Tuesday, June 30: DeLago Resort & Casino: 3Pm Show Musical Tribute to Bette Midler & Barry Manilow
    • Friday, July 24: Jay Leno & Chautauqua Institute
    • August 13: Cabaret Show: Albion, NY 
    • September: Gypsy…Niagara on the Lake lunch at Princes of Wales
    • November: One of a Kind Show in Toronto: Wednesday- Sunday
    • Thursday, December 17: Holiday Pops at Kleinhan’s Music Hall

With information changing rapidly and, in an effort, to keep the public informed, AAA will share the latest information with radio host Roger Christian each weekday morning on WECK Buffalo. These segments run at 8:35 a.m. with an earlier segment on Thursdays at 8:15 a.m.
 

Please note that there may be more cancellations and suspensions since this was published as the situation continues to evolve quickly. Concerned travelers should always reach out to their travel consultant for the latest information. When AAA Western and Central New York receives notifications, the travel department immediately pulls a list of all travelers on that itinerary and proactively reaches out to them to assist with their travel needs.
